Montego Bay-based artiste Unknown Gringo plans to make a signature performance at this year’s Reggae Sumfest perform on Dancehall Night (now known as Festival Night one) at Reggae Sumfest.
“The eyes of the world will be on the Reggae Sumfest stage as it gives me the opportunity to show everyone say Unknown Gringo ah one of the baddest new artistes inna the business today,” Unknown Gringo said.
Unknown Gringo’s distinctive signature hand movements and leaps have made him a popular act on the stage show circuit on the North Coast.
Unknown Gringo has been steadily gaining traction in recent months with a raft of hit songs including chart-riders like ‘Money Factory’ and ‘Go Up’ for Chase Mills Records in recent months.
He is also gearing up to release his first EP, “Rise of the Unknown Gringo” which will feature seven tracks, some of which will be previously unreleased tracks in July 2019.
The artiste has also performed at a number of ‘JB Outta West’ shows in Montego Bay and Negril, as well as several events all over Jamaica. He also recorded several singles under his own label, Desconocido Records, and new independent label, Chase Mills Records.
