Police suspect that they have found the skeletal remains of a body, suspected to be that of missing dancehall artiste ‘Medikk’. The remains were discovered in a cane field in an area known as Wallen in St Catherine on Wednesday, Valentine’s Day.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, made the announcement late Thursday evening.

“The body will be processed and compared with DNA samples to determine its true identity,” Bailey said in an audio statement.

‘Medikk’, whose real name is Stephanie Williams, was reported missing to the Constant Spring Police on August 24 of last year, after leaving her home that afternoon.
