A well-known architect man was killed in a gun attack in the Half Way Tree area of St Andrew on Tuesday evening..
The deceased is 42-year-old Euhon Darling, a well-known architect of Charlton Road, Kingston 8.
Darling was known for the systematic facelift of Bonjour service stations and convenience stores across the island. Darling was the man to take the petroleum brand Texaco into a sleek and modern era with a brilliant rebranding. He was also the mind behind some of the most avante-garde projects changing the skyline in the Corporate Area.
Police report that about 6:30pm, Darling was driving his white Nissan X Trail sport utility vehicle along Skibo Avenue heading towards Cargill Avenue when a motorcycle with two men aboard drove up and the pillion opened gunfire hitting Darling in the head.
The SUV then crashed into a wall and the shooter went in front of the crashed vehicle and shot Darling multiple times in the upper body.
The gunmen fled the scene and Darling died on the spot.
Investigations are ongoing.
