Dancehall artiste Ikon De Link, whose real name s Eyquan Fisher, has made a formal report to the Half Way Tree police that two men associated with a rival male dancehall artiste, have threatened to shoot him on more than one occasion. Constable V McQueen of the Half Way Tree police station confirmed that a report had been lodged at the station last week.

The Jamaican government shot back at the Trinidadian government earlier this week by detaining and deporting Abu Bakr, the Islamist fundamentalist that led a coup in that country several years ago and caused the death of 24 persons.
