A 24-year-old man in St. James was the latest victim in a bloody family feud between the Gillings and Garvey families from the community of McQuarrie in Hanover.
The police have identified the deceased as Rowane Gillings, a resident of Moy Hall, St. James. Rowane was gunned down by gunmen along the Moy Hall main road, sometime after 9 a.m.
He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say his death is linked to an ongoing dispute between the Gillings and Garvey families from McQuarrie in Hanover.
The police say Gillings was out on bail for shooting at the police in Hanover and relocated to Moy Hall as a condition of bail.
