The family of 18 -year-old Yasheka Josephs of Burnside Valley district, St Andrew is worried about her safety as the teenager has been missing since Saturday, July 6.

She is of brown complexion, slim built, and is about 173 centimetres (five feet eight inches) tall.

Reports from the Red Hills police are that Josephs was last seen on Maxfield Avenue in the parish at about 5:00 p.m. No one knows what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

All efforts to contact her since then have been unsuccessful.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Yasheka Josephs is being asked to contact the Red Hills police at 876-945-8270, the police 119 emergency number or, the nearest police station.

Earlier this year, there was a rash of disappearances involving several women disappeared, two of whom had gone to Montego Bay to seek work.
