FOUR KILLED IN WESTMORELAND MASS SHOOTING

The Westmoreland Policing Division is probing the circumstances surrounding the killing of four men and the injuring of four patrons at a bar in New Road, Bethel Town in the parish on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Damion Baker, Odane Scott otherwise called ‘Moses’, and Rocky Lawrence.
The identity of the fourth man has not yet been ascertained. The police say the bio-data and addresses of the victims are unknown at this time.
Reports are that, about 10:20 pm, patrons were gathered at a bar in Bethel Town, when a motor car drove up and several armed men alighted immediately opening gunfire on the crowd.
Eight injured persons were taken to hospital, where four were confirmed dead.
No motive has yet been established for the killings.
