Veteran crooner Richie Spice blazed in the top ten of the Reggae iTunes chart with his latest release, ‘Real Love’.
“The song which I did Cryshy Records is about real love which I and I get from my mother . I love my mama to the greatest extent and that is a balance of creation cause you know is mother and father. In these last days, the ladies have been treated cruel these last couple of years so this is a song for them to uplift all ladies i their day to day living because woman of the earth is a powerful force,” he said.
Richie Spice also acknowledged that the song “hitting the top ten of the iTunes reggae chart is a great achievement”.
The Real Love leads out the Real Love rhythm project which also features Luciano, and Sizzla Kalonji. The project is produced by US-based independent label Cryshy Records LLC.
The 51-year-old singer recorded his first song, Killing A Sound, was produced by Dennis “Star” Hayes and released in 1994. This was followed by Shine, produced by Clive Hunt.
Richie Spice also teamed up in 1995 with Hunt for his debut album Out of The Blue on the Island Jamaica label from which came his first major hit song, a lovely hit song about love called Groovin’ My Girl.
He is known for classic hits such as Earth A Run Red, Marijuana, Plane Land and Brown Skin.
