Several tributes poured in on social media in the wake of the death of 9 year-old King Khalif Lawrence, son of Aidonia and his wife Kimberly Megan, who passed away after battling brain cancer for several years. 

Among those expressing condolences to the couple is King of the Dancehall’, Beenie Man.
Sharing a photograph of Aidonia and his son, the dancehall king wrote: “Condolences to the Lawrence Family @aidonia4thgenna @kimberly_megan @lalojop. Sending prayers and strength.”

Shaggy shared in an Instagram post: “My condolences to @aidonia4thgenna and his wife Kimberly’. … who lost their only child Khalif earlier today …my heart aches for their loss… it’s unimaginable the lost (sic) of a child. Sending prayers!”

Macka Diamond was confounded by the loss, writing: “I’m trying to process this news. Condolences to Aidonia and family. ” 

On Twitter, Nadine Sutherland wrote: “The Xmas season is on full blast, and some are caught up in Football frenzy. But, in this moment some people are heart broken and in pain.Let us in all of our excitement, lift those who are grieving in our thoughts and prayers. I lift you this morning Aidonia and family. Jah Jah!”
