Deputy Superintendent of police Vern Thompson, the man in charge of criminal investigations for the St Andrew North Police Division, testified today that the house where it is suspected that Clive 'Lizard' Williams was killed, had been set on fire. Wonder if the defence ah go try suggest say ah the police dem set the fire??


Thompson testified that there was a foul odour coming from the house and that the Havendale residence had been set ablaze after his first visit on August 22, 2011.
He said that the caution tape that he strung around the perimeter of the property was also torn down. The tape was replaced, Thompson said.
Police believe Williams was killed on August 16, 2011.
