Down Sound Records artiste Toya is generating major buzz with her singles, Hot Like a Fire and Boss Lady. Both singles are in the top 20 HYPE TV charts, with Boss Lady jumping to #18 this week. But the big news is that the Boss Lady video soared past 170,000 page views this morning.

"It feels great to have two hit songs that people recognise, especially the teenagers, they always come up to me in the streets
and give me lots of encouragement, and my hard work is finally paying off, right now, I am waiting to hear back from Rick Ross' management because we sent him a riddim with a verse from me ,and if he likes it, he will drop a few bars on it and that should be a major boost for my career," she said. Toya's previous #1 single, Hot Like a Fire just surpassed 125,000 views on youtube, showing that her appeal extends to the North American market as well.

"Hot 97 did a feature on Toya a few weeks ago for 30 minutes and the phone lit up! Disc jock Angie Martinez pulled up Boss Lady 20 times, then told the audience to check her out on You Tube and also pulled up Hot Like A Fire. If you check recent comments on her youtube videos you will see that she is attracting a lot of attention from American kids," manager Josef Bogdanovich, CEO of Down Sound Records, said.

Toya's Hot Like a Fire hit the number one spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown, spent six consecutve weeks at #1 on the FiWi Choice Top Ten and on the reggae charts in Barbados. Hot Like a Fire peaked at number
four on the HYPE TV charts and number five on the RE TV charts. The
single also hit the top ten on the Atlanta, South Florida and New York
reggae charts. Her latest single, Boss Lady, on the Ghetto Rock
riddim, has been generating a lot of buzz, and the video for the
single premiered on CVM and HYPE TV three weeks ago.

The Boss Lady video hit the #2 spot on the CVM TV Hitlist last week.
