Miss Cleo, the psychic with the faux Jamaican accent, who was the centre of a popular cult ad campaign in the nineties, is now dead. In  the 90s, she was a pitchwoman for the Psychic Readers Network before it closed down.   


The iconic TV psychic  -- whose real name was Youree Harris -- died after battling cancer


She died Tuesday morning in Palm Beach County, FL. She had been discharged last week to a hospice center.

Harris had colon cancer that eventually spread to her other organs, and she died following a long illness on July 26, 2016, aged 53.
