Businessman Corey Todd was freed of assault charges on Wednesday arising from an incident involving deejay Devin Di Dakta last year.

 

The case was dissmissed at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in Half-Way-Tree.

 

Todd was facing charges of malicious destruction of property and assault occasioning bodily harm. Todd's attorney Peter Champagnie said the charge of assault was dismissed after a brief mediation session between the two men at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court.

 

He said his client apologised to Devin di Dakta for the misunderstanding.

 

Champagnie also said the entertainer indicated that he wanted to withdraw his complaint against Todd.
