The death of the rising track star drew condolences and sympathy messages on social media from the local track and high school athletics community, community leaders, international track stars and others. Friends and those who knew Trinity expressed their grief. Here is a sampling of that reaction:   Online reports said 15-year-old Trinity Gay died after a shooting at a Lexington restaurant. Gay died from her injuries just before 5 am  on Sunday. Gay scene in Star Trek: Beyond, WHYYYYYYY????

Sunday, 16 October 2016 00:11 Written by
Just finished watching Star Trek: Beyond, and was riveted by the action scenes and plot. Great movie, but shocked that they found a way to include a gay scene, that was brief, but did nothing to add to the plot. In the scene, Sulu walks up to "his husband", who is with their daughter, and tenderly puts his arm around him and walks away. It's low-ley and kinda shocking, because I never thought of sexual orientation as being a major part of any Star Trek movie. But once again, the Gay Agenda finds a way to try to inculcate the minds of the youths.
