The Bonafide Reggae band, based in the city of Las Vegas in Nevada, is at the forefront of the push to boost the popularity of reggae and by extension, Jamaica's tourism product in the USA. The band, a fixture on the Last Vegas music scene, received a certificate of special congressional commendation from US Congresswoman Dina Titus to mark their 19th year anniversary in the music business.

Former Gaza stablemates Jahvinci and Popcaan have teamed up for a single, 'Steamy' that has over 2 million views in one month. 

Sean Paul has made an appeal for the public to donate blood for his ailing father, Garth Henriques.

The lure of fame has forced aspiring deejays to use all sorts of publicity stunts to generate interest and hopefully fans. One deejay claimed that he implanted goat horns in his head, DJ Alkaline used black eye contacts and claimed he had tattooed his eyes and one deejay climbed a cell tower and threatened to jump off. Dancehall deejay Insideeus went one step further than Alkaline and actually tattooed his eyes, and almost lost his eyesight as a result. Here is his story.

American superstars locked down the quiet community of Trench Town in Kingston this afternoon as they shot scenes for video content which will be used for their upcoming On the Run II tour.  

Dancehall recording artiste Skillis has released a street anthem entitled 'Street Smart' featuring US rapper Lil Baby. The single was released last week and has racked up thousands of views since.  

Sweden-based reggae artiste Short Ghad released a video for his popular single, 'Feel Nice', this month to rave reviews from dancehall fans in Sweden and other parts of Europe.
