Our December 25 2012, Slingerz Christmas Party featuring Tommy Lee Sparta, Popcaan, Jumo and the Slingerz Family DJs had to be ended prematurely due to the incessant tossing of glass bottles into the air by some persons. Indeed the show began with Jumo Rubber Waist Primo exuding with Guyanese confidence and showmanship entertaining the capacity crowd who were more than eager to show they were proud Guyanese whenever he beckoned them to. The next artiste who is no stranger to our shores, Popcaan belted out hit after hit and effortlessly singjayed right into the hearts of the inner city youths and the ladies. However, it was Tommy Lee Sparta who came last on stage that the crowd wanted to hear. The excitement and energy shown for the hottest item on the dancehall scene had many patrons claimed they had only seen at Michael Jackson concerts on television and had never seen a crowd react in such a jubilant manner for any Caribbean artiste.
