Time Square Entertainment has made a bold statement with the release of the Vicky Secret riddim which features a mix of dancehall heavyweights and the new crop of youngbloods that will drive dancehall into the next decade.
The evergreen, and inventive Beenie Man leads out the riddim with his boastful 'One Bagga Gal' where he trots out various metaphors to show the great extent to which he has achieved the status of a 'top galls'. Best line: "my ratings tougher than heel back/no gal never gimme no negative feedback".
Spice shows why she is the top female in the Dancehall Game today with her contribution where she 'exalts' on the female population. She deejays with authority on the track,    ' Nuh Secret' and she has a great hook that is bonafide club banger where she deejays:  'No gal nah no secret fi me, all dem a rail and chat, dem caan beat me, anno my fault him want me'.
Chi Ching Ching is at his humorous best with 'Stamp It'. When he deejays: 'mi underpants ah talk to yu panty/mi have the long something yu a long fi', you are forced to just crack up.
Demarco encourages the girls to wine on the 'Trojan'. He has an uncanny knack for coming up with great hooks, and witty rhymes that the whole dance can rock to, and he delivers the goods on this high-tempo track. Gyptian shows up with his unique brand of dancehall-soul on 'Wine Up and Down' while Munga swings in the groove of the riddim with 'Diamond Girl' with his catchy flow and witty metaphors.
One of the standout tracks is by a 14 year-old social media sensation Kasheme, 'Feel Secure' where he showcases his ice-cream smooth, R & B vocals guaranteed to loosen the thighs of all the dancehall honeys. Signed to Time Square Entertainment, this super-talented rookie is one to watch for the future.
The riddim is rounded out by rookies such as red hot rookie, Savage with 'Mad Dem a Go Mad', Shampane with 'Keep Callin' and Innovator with 'Too Bad', three commendable efforts that show they are on the right track to stardom.
US-based producer Jermaine 'Jowy Hype' Fuller, chief executive officer of Time Square Records, is walking in the footsteps on his illustrious uncle, Billboard chart-topping producer Rohan 'Jah Snowcone' Fuller. We wish him the best. He is off to a great start.
