It has become routine in the music business for artistes to release an EP as their first project before venturing into album mode. Dancehall/reggae artiste Vershon has followed the same formula with his debut EP One More Day.

The artiste has been on the scene for three years, however the wait, as it turns out, was worth it as One More Day is a rarity in contemporary reggae/dancehall. It is a strong set, built around quality singing, songwriting and musicianship.

The youngster who also dabbles with music production has called Friendz For Real his musical home for the past year, he said most of the EP was recorded at that particular camp, where he collaborated with producers like Birch, Damage Musiq among others.

The singer's Real Queffa Records also had a say in the album's production, calling the shots on five of the 7 tracks.

"All  of my work is done in Jamaica. I have good working chemistry with the producers and they help me formulate the sound I want to hear. It is also good that I featured some of my own productions to show that I am a versatile artiste," Vershon said.
