Down Sound recording artiste Toya said that she plans to file a lawsuit against the organisers of the annual Excellence in Music and Entertainment awards after she tripped and skinned her knee during her walk on the red carpet a few minutes ago.

"I am shocked and surprised that the organisers of the EMEs could put up such a shoddy red carpet- if you ever saw what they call a red carpet, you would be surprised, and it was their negligence and incompetence that caused me to trip. I saw the photographers there taking the picture and I just allowed them to because I know that this is the organisers' fault," Toya, who is nominated in the Best New Female Artiste category, said. "I am going to sue them for this travesty...a lot of people almost tumbled, the board rotten weh mek the runway, Richie B go luuu wid him PINK CARPET."
