Internationally acclaimed female reggae artiste, Tanya Stephens will be breaking her one-year hiatus from the Jamaican stage come this Thursday.


The “Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet” artiste will take to the Appleton Estate Signature Nights stage for an unforgettable night at Macau in Kingston.


The artiste said that patrons can expect a fantastic performance following her return to the stage.


"I can be expected to sing and poke fun. I promise there will be no tightrope walking, no ice skating, no fire breathing...I will only be doing what people know me for, what we usually have fun doing together!" she said.


The internationally acclaimed artiste who emerged in the 1990s is expected to deliver soulful renditions from her repertoire of reggae, dancehall and social commentary lyrics to music lovers.


An intimate setting featuring superb live entertainment, paired with Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, is slated for Thursday’s staging of the series. This notes Leleika-Dee Barnes, Customer Marketing Manager, J. Wray and Nephew Limited, is in keeping with Appleton Estate’s thrust to provide Signature experiences for its consumers.


 “Appleton Estate Signature Nights is all about providing a unique experience for our patrons, in the form of a rich edu-tainment package featuring some of the best names in Jamaican music, exquisitely paired with our world-renowned rum.”


She continued: “We invite patrons to come out to Macau this Thursday for a night to remember as they enjoy great music from Tanya Stephens and our Signature X-Ale Cocktail.”


Admission to the event is free, and patrons will also get a free mason jar with the purchase of a Q at $1200. Gates open at 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, with the hour long set commencing at 9pm. Patrons must be 18 years or older to enter and enjoy Appleton Estate Signature V/X Blend.


Appleton Estate Signature Nights will continue its tour across the island, with remaining stops to come in Ocho Rios and Kingston.
