Producer Shane 'Shines' Richards has claimed copyright infringement on Mr Vegas Album "Sweet Jamaica", causing the album to be pulled from music download websites such as Google Play, Amazon, and iTunes.

"He claimed infringement even after he was informed that the "Black widow" Riddim which was used on this album with the title track Champagne Rose', was replayed by the copy right owner of that Riddim, 'Clevie' from the duo 'Steelie and Clevie', and the album was pulled from ITunes, Amazon, google play, but MV Music took steps to prove that the beat was replayed and the album was reinstated, but decided to take the track off the album," Mr. Vegas said.

"MV Music does not need any negative energy associated with music that the company promotes."

Richards is known for the Black Widow and Tarantula riddims of the 1990s.
