International recording artiste Snow is now convalescing after a scary incident over the weekend when he was forced to check into the emergency ward at two major hospitals after a severe allergic reaction.

The allergic reaction caused the Informer singer's face to swell up and his breathing became laboured.

"It was definitely a scary experience, even now, I don't really know what caused the allergic reaction but my face swelled up, I couldn't see out of one eye, and I couldn't breathe freely so I had to check myself in," Snow said in a release.

He went to see doctors at  Medical Associates and then went to see a medical specialist at the University Hospital of the West Indies.

"I was impressed with the health care system in Jamaica, the doctors were professional, very thorough, and I was able to receive medical attention quickly," he said.

He is now recuperating from the allergic reaction.

The artiste had been in the island for the past few weeks completing the production work on his latest single, Hands Up, alongside the Mystic Revealers. The song will be released this weekend
