Fast-rising dancehall sensation Ryme Minista plans to end 2014 on a very high note. Since the start of the year, the tough-talking deejay has risen from relative obscurity to becoming one of the most talked about new acts on the local music scene and, certainly, the most prominent dancehall act in western Jamaica.

Throughout this year, the talented Montegonian enjoyed a steady rise, as he peppered the local airwaves with a number of hard-hitting tracks such as Kill And Get Weh, featuring Mavado, Psycho Bell, Searching For My Rights and One Umbrella.

Ryme Minista also delivered dozens of memorable performances all over the island. Most notably was his awesome Reggae Sumfest debut. Fans are still raving about the exciting performance he delivered on Dancehall Night at the prestigious summer music festival.

"I've had a very good year. At the start of the year, not a lot of people knew Ryme Minista, but now everyone knows my name. I have been putting in a lot of hard work and it's paying off. God has blessed me with a very good management team. I am very thankful to all the people who are supporting my career - all the fans, the DJs and the promoters, everyone," said the artiste.

Booked to perform on two of the biggest local events to be held during the Yuletide season - GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza and Sting - Ryme Minista plans to close 2014 with a bang. "I plan to close out 2014 on a high. These are two major shows and I plan to show everyone that Ryme Minsta is now a force to be reckoned with. Believe me, I'm going to deliver my very best for the fans at both shows," Ryme Minista said.
