ROADS TO CLOSE IN DOWNTOWN KINGSTON FOR DENNIS BROWN CONCERT @one876 Featured

The police on Saturday advised that several roads in downtown Kingston will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate a Dennis Brown Concert that is slated for the Kingston Waterfront on Sunday, February 23, between the hours of 5:00 pm and 1:00 am.


The road closures will take effect at midday on Sunday. These roads are: • Nethersole Place • Ocean Boulevard, north of King Street • Church Street • Port Royal Street The police also said that VIP parking will be available at the Bank of Jamaica, entrance on East Street, and at the Bank of Nova Scotia car parks, entrance on East Street. General parking will also be available on at the UDC northern and southern car parks, entrance on East Street and at the West Street parking lot, entrance on Orange Street. The Dennis Brown concert is said to attract reggae's biggest names paying tribute to Brown, the proclaimed Crown Prince of Reggae, who died in July, 1999 at age 42.
