Richie Drenz one of Jamaica’s most controversial authors has been receiving mixed reviews about his raunchy novel “Heart of Revenge”. The book tells a story about a mother who was faced with the decision to force her 14 year old daughter into a relationship with an older man so as to maintain the needs of the family, mainly those of her older brother suffering from a rare heart disease. The tone of the novel and the language used has drawn the attention of many readers.
Richie Drenz has now set his eyes on a wider audience being in the top 100 on Kindle for African-American contemporary. On the 20th of April he will have his first international book signing in London then off to Barbados between July 13 to 16 during Crop Over Festival and lastly in the late summer hitting New York with a big bang. “ I am really excited about the tour as I strongly believe I am taking things to another level” Richie shared, “I do intend to excite and entertain not only Jamaican readers but readers from the Caribbean and the rest of the world”. Richie’s next projects are the releasing of his new novel entitled “Climaxes” and new designs for Drenz Fashions which will premiere on Magnum King and Queens on April 20.
