There's a new kid on the block in the world of reggae music. Fast developing a growing buzz because of his artful rhymes and brash singing style, Cliffside Entertainment artiste Quain is a definite talent to watch for in the year 2011. His sophomore release, Why Dem a Judge We, is already generating attention from radio disc jocks in Connecticut, and the US resident is now in Jamaica recording an armada of new tracks.

He was raised in the church where he started signing at the tender age of 7 on the church choir. In addition, he also attended White Hall Primary. He later migrated to the United States of America where he started signing on the school choir at Warren Harding high School, where he did his first real performance. Not only his Quain a Singer but he is also a song writer and a dancer, moreover, he also plays a couple of instruments as well. Quain is the second oldest for both his mom and his dad.

He has an older brother by his mom side and a younger sister and a few brothers and sister by his dad side of the family.

“Bap Bap” is a unique signature sound commonly used by the upcoming reggae artist. His signature sound along with his natural versatility makes him unique and set him apart from many others in his genre. The meaning of Quain is Clever, which can be attributing to his style of music. He was inspired to write and sing by the late, great, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley. He was also inspired to DJ by growing up listening to Bunty Killer’s music.

Quain started making a name for himself in the underground dancehall music community, with his natural versatility that he cultivated at a very young age, He always puts the spark where it’s needed, whether its ghetto culture, rap, DJ or singing romantic songs for the ladies. The artist really knows how to swing a crowd to keep the vibes going. To be around this artist and witness his work is amazing; he could sing all day about basically anything and open up your eyes and minds to many things. This artist is also predicted to be the youngest legend in dancehall at various music genres.
