Pulse Investments Ltd posted profit of $219.5 million on $433 million in revenues for its June 2015 year end or 25.7 per cent higher than year earlier levels.  

 

"Model agency income was up 24.6 per cent over prior year, with new revenues coming from Europe to reflect the new international models now placed in those markets, as well as the continued success of established stars," a release said. 

The financials were filed with the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

PIL completed the upgrade to the function space at its Villa Ronai complex at more than $100 million amid posting one-quarter higher profit year on year, management indicated.

 

"The company also completed 9,000 sq ft of function space at Villa Ronai, inclusive of furnishings, with works and fittings valued in excess of $108 million," stated the release about the complex which consists of two lounges, meeting rooms and other function areas.

 

The company added that revenues grew across the board with cash-and-kind sponsorships up by $54.6 million or 54 per cent. Rental income increased to $48.6 million, up by 23 per cent from $39.1 million in 2014.
