Emcee Nuffy has shot down a story in the Jamaica Star claiming that he has been charged in connection with an illegal gun find over the weekend. The Jamaica Star claimed that he was arrested after an illegal gun, a Norinco 9mm, was found in a Toyota Corolla car in which he was travelling in on the Nelson Mandela Highway. However, one876entertainment.com just spoke to the artiste via phone and he laughed at the story.

"This is a false rumour, dem a try slander me and spoil mi reputation and put mi inna gang. Ah music mi do, mi no do dem ting de. Ah police yu waan pree me? Mi just mash up Sting and dem a try mash up mi career. Last year a bagga tings tek me and now this year, yu waan do the same. I have contacted
my lawyer and he will be writing the STAR to get a front page retraction of this story," Nuffy told one876entertainment
this morning.

According to the article, the emcee was detained along with an ex-soldier who police investigators believe is a member of the Dog Paw gang. No one has been charged in connection with the seizure. The vehicle that Nuffy was travelling in was intercepted along the Nelson Mandela Highway. Both men were taken into custody on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
