Independent label Down Sound Records has officially closed their St. Andrew Park headquarters and will soon make an announcement regarding their relocation and expansion plans for 2014 and beyond.

Down Sound Records CEO Josef Bogdanovich says they have fully complied with orders issued by the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, KSAC, and in doing so, has suspended operations and downsized staff, making several engineers, artistes, and auxiliary staff temporarily unemployed.

Several weeks ago, the KSAC obtained a Supreme Court order, compelling Down Sound Records Limited to remove its studio which is in St Andrew Park Kingston 10 before September 16.
