Reggae artiste Nesbeth has been enjoying a resurgence in his career with the success enjoyed by his single, 'Ole Gangalee', a controversial single, which is a take-off of Louie Culture's 1990s classic 'Gangalee'.

The song has been getting a lot of airplay on FM radio, and that popularity has allowed the single to infiltrate Kington's kinetic dancehall circuit where it has become a popular selection for local selectors. The buzz around 'Ole Gangalee' has raised Nesbeth's stock on the stage show circuits in Jamaica and Europe.

"This song has opened up a lot of doors for me, the song is on the lips of the young kids, and judging by the response on Facebook and Twitter, this song has a lot of staying power with the reggae massive," Nesbeth said.

The song is simultaneously holding the pole position on the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart, and the Stampede Street Charts.

He will be appearing as a special guest act during the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Festival Song finals on Saturday. He will also perform on Louie Culture's show, 'Portland Splash' on July 26th.

The video for 'Ole Gangalee' continues to generate heat in the industry, enjoying strong rotation on a number of TV stations, including HYPE TV, RETV, CVM Plus and Swag TV. He recently appeared on the popular Heart & Soul feature on IRIE FM, which is hosted by Elise Kelly.

Nesbeth is currently promoting a brand-new single called Taste Victory on the Entertainment Soul imprint.
