Montego Bay-based deejay Master Bling knows that hype means nothing and that talent and hard work are the only recipes for long term success in the music industry. "I just care about making great music, I am putting in the hours to become great at what I do because this is my approach to life: hard work and dedication," he said.

This young deejay is part of a new wave of Montego Bay artistes who are making a mark in dancehall. Master Bling has been getting a lot of positive airplay in recent weeks for his latest single, Gallis on the Cannon Ball riddim. "The feedback has been incredible so far, I did an interview on RJR last week, and my phone blew up, with support from all over, especially from Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, the people are feeling the Gallis song," the artiste whose real name is Gregory Smith said.
