Former Portmore Empire first lady Lisa Hyper returned to the island on Monday after a successful series of shows in Guyana over the weekend.

"I was supposed to do three shows, but the second one did not do so well, but first and last one sell off. The clubs dem ram and ting, dem love mi over de," Lisa Hyper told

The deejay has seen a surge in her popularity since her new single, Power Ah Mi Good Good'' hit the airwaves.

"DJ Liquid ah rinse it, and a couple of other disc jocks on ZIP, ah Jam 2 song, I am doing an album for Jam 2, and in a few weeks, I will be shooting a medley video with Power and Body Fit inna one," she said.

In the meantime, the bookings are rolling in for the female deejay with confirmed dates in Aruba on July 29th, she is in French Guiana on August 11th, and she will be sharing a stage with Cecile in St. Maarten on August 27th. Then, she will be doing a club tour in England for two weeks in September. She will be co-hosting this week's edition of FIWI Choice on CVM TV.
