The 2014 staging of the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall final will be held at the UDC Car Park, Waterfront, downtown Kingston. The venue has the capacity to hold 5,000 patrons, and Magnum is pulling out all stops to ensure that the crowd support is favourable. Gates to the event will open as early as 7 p.m. Foota Hype will be the night's deejay.

The night will also feature performances from the contestants, as well as past winners. Magnum is offering a $200 drink deal and patrons will be charged $500. Tickets will be available for purchase at Petcom Dunrobin, Cottrell's Texaco, Petcom Braeton and Fortune Texaco. The final is set for this Saturday and show time is 8:30 p.m. and the event goes up to 2 a.m.This year's final will also carry a post-live show which is expected to start at 11:30 p.m. Recording artistes such as I-Octane, Christopher Martin and Lady Saw are already booked as part of the line-up. Sanjay, producer of MKQ, also has expectations for the climax of this year's season. "Fans can expect a finale like none other as it's our first time moving downtown with such a star-studded line-up. Having the clash on the final night will make for the perfect climax to a history book season," he said.
