Word is that Konshens is distraught over the death of his older brother, Delus, in an apparent suicide. However, he plans to perform at a concert planned in Seychelles on June 28th.

 

The concert in Seychelles is still on schedule, a local organiser said Thursday after reports of the death of the artist’s brother.

 

Stephen Eliza known as Elijah, who is part of the organising team, told the media that he has been in touch with Konshens and the programme has not changed.

 

“I spoke to Konshens after hearing the news, and I can confirm that the show is still on,” Elijah was reported as saying.

 

 

The dancehall deejay, whose real name is Delmark Spence, body was discovered on Wednesday afternoon in a bathroom at his home in Kingston. 

 

Delus celebrated his birthday just four days ago and posted a thank you to all his fans on Instagram just yesterday.

 

Delus was once a member of Konshens' Subkonshus label and often collaborated with him on singles. Some of the tracks the two brothers collaborated on includes “Call The Police,” “Better Man,” “So High,” and the 2009 hit “She’s Happy.”
