IMMA Presents Mr. and Ms. Jamaica High School contest Featured

  Immaculate Modeling Agency Charity (IMMA) is proud to bring to your attention that the 4th staging of the 2011 IMMA Mr. and Ms Jamaica High School Talent and Personality competition 2011held at Holy Childhood High School for Girls (Stephanie Hall) in Kingston; St Andrew on November 26 2011@ 6pm was a success. 
This year we are staging the fifth exciting one Theme ON A MISSION, November 24, 2012 at the Stephanie Hall Auditorium Holy Childhood High School beginning at 5p.m. sharp.  
 Twenty -One (21) schools will be  participating in this year’s event with twenty (21) females and seventeen (17) males Participating schools are: Kingston Technical High, Tacius Golding High,  Glengoffe High, Alpha Academy, Camperdown High, Dunoon Technical High, Vauxhall High, Annotto Bay High, Excelsior High, Gaynstead High, Penwood High, Bog Walk High, Trench Town High, Tivoli Gardens High, Charlie Smith High, Clan Carthy High, Cumberland High, Pembroke Hall High, Papine High, Mona High, Lister Mair Gilby High School for the Deaf.
An eight week training and grooming work shop is now being done for all participants. Participants have training in voice and speech, grooming, posture, poise, wardrobe technique, conflict resolution and communication skills.
This project has successful groomed over five hundred (500) students. Last year seventeen (17) schools with over twenty seven (27) participants both from the Rural and Urban Areas
Seventeen year old Mr. Jovaine Grange student from Camperdown High was crowned King for 2011 and copped sectional prizes; Most Aware, Most Intelligent and Most Talented rounding off the top three were Mr. Excelsior Cruz Wilson who was 1st Runner Up and Mr. Penwood Justin Hylton 2nd Runner Up.
Miss Samantha Laylor also Seventeen years old from Convent of Mercy Alpha was crowned Queen for 2011 and like Mr. Grange she too copped the sectional prizes of Most Aware, Most Intelligent and Most Talented  and  finishing off the top three were Ms Ruseas High Devonie Bernard 1st Runner Up and Ms Excelsior High Shania Palmer 2nd Runner Up.
