Hyah Bingy's combination hit, '16 Years Old' featuring Determine is fast establishing him as one of the new fresh new faces in the local reggae industry. He is on the forefront of a creating a great new sound that seamlessly blends R & B, hip hop and reggae.

"The response from the video and the single has been good so far, it
is getting mad rotation on CVM and HYPE TV, and my record company
plans to go on a major promotional push to get it out there in the
Caribbean," the Clarendon-based artiste said.

"The song really connect because it uses a sample from the original 16
Years Old hit by Junior Tucker, and with Determine's lyrics, it sell off. The problem
of older guys and younger girls has been around for a long time, but
this is the 21st century, men need to stop trying to corrupt young
girls and as a society, we have to play our role to protect our
innocent young people."

Determine also brings the fire as he deejays "she ah just 16, tell me how the 35 year ting mix in, that caan gwaan, not inna this scheme'.

Hyah Bingy is looking forward to his appearance on this weekend's
Manchester Fiesta so that he can show what he can deliver.

"The show ah go mad, me and Determine ah go come represent," he said.

Bingy grew up in Sandy Bay Clarendon, and spent several years in England crafting his sound, before returning to take on the local music industry. This track may just be the launching pad to a
successful career. Produced by Miami and London based producer J.R Ewing and featuring Determine, the track has the combination and variety of a global classic appealing to everyone.

"The track is taken from the Book One CD which is a collection of
seven tracks I recorded between 2008-2010 when I signed up with S.I
Music," he said.

The Book One CD also spawned the underground hit Never Badmind Once
featuring fellow recording artiste I Octane.

"The Octane song is powerful, and the streets endorse it. The track
is also produced by J.R Ewing with one of the most aggressive
instrumentals around today, this sound is going to rock the world, a
new kinda reggae R & B," he said.

The Book One CD was recorded between Miami, London and Jamaica. At
present, HyahBingy is recording in the studio preparing his debut EP
titled the Many Moods of Bingy, the follow up from the Book One demo
CD. This CD will be a double EP containing 12 tracks from HyahBingy
and features other artistes as well.

"I am trying to create a new sound, and create music that can feed the
mind and the soul, even while entertaining; that's what Hyah Bingy
represents, a new way of thinking and approaching things," he said.

He will also be dropping a new single that he is dedicating to his wife, an usual move for a recording artiste, but then again, he is on a 'hyah' level.
