A new scam ring involving the Gaza is reportedly bilking millions of dollars from unsuspecting victims. The scam works through a mastermind who has been posing as Vybz Kartel and who has been sending texts and emails to members of the entertainment fraternity to solicit money to deal with Kartel's legal costs. One interesting component of the scam is that it first ensnares producers hoping to  get a song from the Gaza General even though he is incarcerated. Then the scammers up the ante by offering that Kartel will give the person his "first show" once he gets out in exchange for $2 million dollars up front to pay off lawyers and cops to ensure the World Boss' release. Reports reaching one876 are that several local celebrities, producers, show promoters and other members of the entertainment fraternity have already lost millions of dollars to the scam, even though Kartel himself has sent out a release to the media not to be taken in by the scam.

The police are attempting to find out who is the mastermind behind this Gaza Scam.
