Will Tesha Miller have his 2011 conviction and sentencing overturned???
Tesha Miller, the reputed leader of the Spanish Town-based Clansman gang, returns to court on March 22 as the Court of Appeal is to hand down its ruling. Justice Carol Lawrence Beswick sentenced Miller to seven years in prison on a charge of illegal possession of a firearm and 15 years for robbery with aggravation. In his appeal, Miller’s lawyers argued that the judge erred as she failed to adequately assess the evidence in the case.
