When Q45 saw the headlines which screamed 'Elephant Man Arrested for Rape', he was perturbed, but sure that the artiste who he had known for more than a decade could not be guilty.

 

He showed up at the preliminary hearing and provided surety to ensure that Elephant Man made bail, and since then, the two have renewed their once legendary friendship, reaching a sort of rapprochement that reunites one of the best one-two punches in the annals of dancehall. Q45 produced some of Elephant Man's biggest hits and brokered a record deal with P. Diddy, netting one Grammy nomination.
