Yet another double murder rocked the quiet community of Linstead on Friday night. The Linstead police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of two people in Rose Hall, Linstead.

The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Rodario Hibbert, otherwise called ‘Milton’, of Commodore district, and 41-year-old Kay Marie Pryce-Binns of Rose Hall, both in Linstead.

Reports are that about 5:15 am, Hibbert, Pryce-Binns and another person were at home when they heard strange sounds.

Hibbert reportedly went to investigate and was pounced upon by two men armed with guns.

It is alleged that he attempted to challenge them and was shot. Pryce-Binns reportedly ran to assist him and she too was shot several times.

They were both taken to hospital where Hibbert was pronounced dead and Binns succumbed to her injuries while being treated.

The police say the other occupant escaped unhurt.
