Fresh!, Witty!, Musically Inclined!, Just a few words used to describe Don SLR, Jamaican born but Canadian based rising star. Don SLR who just premiered his video on Hype TV for his new single ‘Tru Wi Step Up’ has been receiving great reviews.

The video directed and produced by Dev Daultan was shot on location in Downtown, Toronto in July 2013. Don SLR who’s most proud of his thus far accomplishments stated he decided to shoot a video for this single as it was “a positive message that was relatable to everyone in the music industry and to a wider extent the world .”
Daultan, the director and Don SLR worked well together, he shares “both of us have a strong work connection and because of that I respect his work”. Don SLR who is managed by Canada’s Half -a-Dalla Management Inc and Jamaica’s Signature Entertainment is said to complete the shooting his next video for his single “Live my Life” in early September here in Jamaica. “I love Jamaica that is where my heart is and where most of my struggles were in entertainment so I think it’s ideal to shoot my other video there”.
Don SLR’s management shares that the artiste is presently in promotion mode as he has been receiving airplays on both local and cable television, “we have a good artiste working with and we are confident that it will only get better from this video onwards”. The artiste’s last successful video was entitled ‘Kuruption’ which became an anthem for ghetto youths in the community of the intersection of Lincoln Road and Lyndurst Road near to Jungle where Don SLR grew up.
Don SLR ‘Tru Wi Step Up’ has also been released on iTunes for purchase by Rocland Records Inc .
