Although Masicka grew up in Independence City, a section of a community known as Third World in Waterford has thrown their full support behind his career. Residents have painted a mural and a wall with the names of Masicka and Konshens as they signal their intent to join the SubKonshus movement. Masicka also did a photo shoot in the area last week. From Waterford ah support yu, anything can happen!!!

“The streets ah respond to the man thing, no one aside from members of the Portmore Empire have ever got that level of support in Waterford and that speaks to the street cred of Masicka,” Corey Todd said. The SubKonshus team will be releasing four videos over the next month to jumpstart. “I've known Masicka for around two years always saw his potential but the timing wasn't right for me. I always knew if I did return to working with a young artist again, he would be the first person I would call," Todd said.
