After a devastating performance at the year-ending Sting and GT Extravaganza stage shows, Chuck Fenda, the Living Fire, will head to Rebel Salute this Saturday, January 15 to unleash the same energy and captivating lyrics that he is known for, and look to once again dominate the evening’s lineup at the Port Kaiser Sports Complex.

Joining a host of outstanding conscious entertainers, Chuck Fenda
plans to deliver with new singles ‘Girl You Need A Good Man in Your
Life’ on the Big Stage rhythm for Penthouse Records, which peaked at
#7 on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts and is now hovering at #2 on
the HYPE TV VTX video charts. The single is creating an incredible
buzz in the streets, especially among the ladies. Chuck Fenda is also
scoring heavily with ‘Got To Love You’ for Sankofa Records on the Good
Over Evil riddim.

“I am going to shell down Rebel Salute this weekend, this is a new
rejuvenated Living Fire, I have a new management team, and a new
marketing team behind my career, so I am going there to represent for
my people, and show that the Living Fire still blazes…caan cool,”
Chuck Fenda, who is known for the monster number one singles ‘Gash Dem
and Light Dem’ and ‘Are You Coming Over Tonight’ featuring Cherine
Anderson.

Despite his new-look team, reggae fans can look out for firm
favourites such as ‘I Swear’, ‘Herbalist Farmer’, ‘Better Days’,
‘Hypnotise’ and ‘God Is My Witness’, among others.

The Living Fire has been a legendary figure on the ‘Rebel Salute’
stage for most of his successful career, delivering crowd-pleasing
performances each year, and this year will be no different as he is
armed with an impressive catalogue of hits to blaze the stage. ‘Rebel
Salute’ is an important calendar event in the world of reggae music
and has always served as the launching pad for a successful year for
Fenda, who generally goes on to consistently deliver outstanding
performances on major stage shows across Jamaica and the rest of the
world.

“The year 2011 is shaping up to be a successful one for the Living
Fire and the response on the Internet to my latest singles, especially
Got To Love You is very encouraging, so everything is set for Rebel
Salute,” he said.
