Dancehall new kid Chedda and Trevor Off-Key (ZJ Bambino) has a lot to smile about with the release of the official video for their collaborative effort “Fake Jeans Admit”.


The single inspired by Vybz Kartel and Russian’s – “Straight Jeans & Fitted” has literally taken on a life of its own, morphing from a joke to a bonafide hit enjoying regular rotation on the airwaves and local party circuit.

The video released on Friday, August 27th has racked up some impressive numbers with over 31,000+ hits on popular video network Youtube in only two (2) days complimented by hordes of comments from viewers thanking them for the injection of some well needed humour in a Jamaican music industry that is often plagued with spurts of negativity.

When contacted Chedda and Trevor Off-Key said “Many individuals have linked us wanting dubplates from as far as Japan and now with the release of the video we have television station asking for it”, after ending a phone call Chedda added, “see - that was someone calling from a television station in Belize saying they want the video.”

Next month Chedda is expected to shoot another video, but for now is focused on promoting is new single ‘Cleanest’ featuring teen sensation QQ
