When the wheels of the plane carrying dancehall artiste Busy Signal kissed the tarmac at an airport in New York on Friday morning, the deejay experienced a moment of private hallelujah. 


"Is a blessing. Most High, Jah, bless the Turf as usual. god get the most praise, God get all the praise inna the world from me," the Nah go a Jail Again star said in a Facebook post.

He was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica in May 2012 on an extradition warrant. He was subsequently locked up in US federal prison for two months for absconding bail.

Busy Signal was required to wait until after his two year probation run out before he could apply for a United States visa. But having received a visa recently, Busy Signal travelled to the US and made sure he posted photos and videos on social media to record the moment.
