Beenie Man left the island on Wednesday of this week to perform on the African continent where the 'King of Dancehall' has a large fan base. The 'Rum and Red Bull' chart-topper arrived at the Harare International airport to a large contingent of flag-waving fans.

Beenie Man has been confirmed for one show only and will perform at the Lion Lager Summer Festival to be held at the Old Hararians Sports Club on Saturday, October 16. The show is sponsored by Delta Beverages.

When Beenie arrived at the airport yesterday, he was clad in a yellow jersey, a matching cap and white slacks striped sideways with Jamaica’s national colours. He was chauffeured to Rainbow Towers in a black BMW 7 Series. Today, he and his 13-member delegation toured the Lion Lager plant in Southerton before meeting Delta Beverages executives.

He will be in Zimbabwe until October 21st.
