Beenie Man to fly in Akon for video shoot Featured
"The single was to originally feature John Legend, but John was on an extensive tour, so I linked up with Akon and the result was great. This song is one for the streets, and I will be flying Akon to Jamaica to shoot the video. Right now, plans are in between Jamaica and Africa to shoot the video, but mi a bet Jamaica," Beenie Man said.
The official artwork for the soulful track was released on Thursday, October 22nd, and the song will be added to the playlists of major US radio stations this weekend. Beenie Man had last collaborated with Akon on the successful single , 'Girls' which hit pop charts in Portugal, New Zealand and the UK.
"The early response has been phenomenal so far, Unstoppable is for the streets, and the second single, 'Ready Fi Party' is for the club, and that will represent the party side of the album. The promotion ah go buck, starting this weekend," Beenie Man said.
Beenie Man’s new 14-track album ,'Unstoppable', produced by Beenie and his MD Entertainment Music label, will be the deejay’s first LP in almost 8 years.
