J. Capri is in an induced coma at the UHWI, battling to recover from life-threatening injuries she received during a car accident. Reactions to news of the accident include heartfelt remarks from many Jamaican entertainers.     



Beenie Man, on his instagram page, called on "everybody fi say a prayer fi the DJ", adding the hashtag #Prayfor Jcapri.


"Please help," said Shaggy. "Best wishes to the family in this difficult time."


Fellow female deejay Tifa asker her social media followers to "Please keep JCapri in your prayers."


The "unruly boss", Popcaan added: "God, please be with her through all this... All my prayers going up for you."


"Keep fighting princess. Our prayers are with you," I-Octane said, advising others to "Pray for real, don't just say it."


Miss Kitty, Cecile and Alaine were among the other artistes who expressed support for J Capri.
