Gully Squad leader Mavado is wanted for questioning in relation to an incident that happened on Friday. It is alleged that the deejay's vehicle was involved in an accident with another vehicle driven by a 51 year-old male and that a member of his entourage used a cutlass to slap the man's son in his mouth.

The incident was confirmed by cops from the Anchovy Police station in St. James

"They were going to Sumfest and they were passing through a section of Belmont when there was an incident with another driver. Allegations are that Mavado used his Range Rover to squeeze up a 51 year-old resident of the community, after they had got into an argument. The man had stopped to let the line of vehicles pass him when Mavado began to complain there was not enough space to pass. He then drove down his vehicle on the man, the vehicle damaged the man's door and then squeezed him up in the door as well, and then a member of Mavado's entourage used a machete to hit the man's son in his mouth. The man has bruising and swelling on his foot, and the man's son is complaining that one of his teeth was dislocated," the policeman said.

Mavado has had at least three run-ins with the law in recent times. Earlier today, MConroy Edwards, the member of Mavado's entourage who was shot outside a nightclub on June 13, was laid to rest. Edwards was about to enter Bounty Killer's birthday party when police attempted to search Mavado. A scuffle started and Edwards was shot. He died three days after.
