The International Media Content Limited (IMC), owner of the SportsMax Channels, has advised that the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the United States has authorised specific channels to broadcast its content.

According to an IMC press advertisement today, the exclusively authorised channels are SportsMax (SMx, SportsMax2, (SMx2), NBA-TV, ESPN and ESPN Caribbean.

The IMC said these are the only channels that should broadcast NBA games and content, including the regular season, the playoffs and the finals.

“Any unauthorised broadcast, whether live or delayed, of any games or other content of the NBA will be a breach of IMC's rights in respect of which IMC reserves all legal rights,” the advertisement stated.
